The Freehire mission is to connect people looking for work with employers without charging a fee
Freehire was created to help job seekers who are frustrated with Automated Tracking Systems and endless resume black holes and for all businesses, large and small, to help them find talented resources easily and for free.
Freehire differs from LinkedIn as it is not a social media site but is rather focused entirely on helping to make a connection between job seekers and employers. Freehire differs from recruiters in that there are no finders fees and employers can search for, and connect with, job seekers directly. Job seekers can approve or reject a connection request from potential employers.
Freehire is operated by a nonprofit and is funded entirely by donations. Freehire’s long term vision is to foster strong connections between job seekers and employers, support hiring communities across the globe, advertise available training for trades and universities, and provide a multitude or resources and tools to help people secure work.
